Kickstarting the 2019 Season We've been a bit lapse with the upkeep of this blog over the past year and it was a very challenging year following the devastating fire that destroyed the Karsten factory and store, but as you would expect, like a phoenix they have risen from the ashes stronger and more formidable than ever! I will backtrack and fill in some post from our camping adventures throughout 2018 but thought we'd do a very quick catch up with what's been happening so far in 2019. Well, we're two shows into the season already with the first one being a very cold (not to mention windy) one in early February. This was the display where we were able to show off the Combi-Awning connector for the first time! We had been in discussions with Karsten about making one since November the previous year, and now it was on display. So to say that it turns heads is an understatement. I'm very lucky with our Cambridge Tent Displays that the field we use is East facing. This gives me the opportunity to get up early and view the rising sun. The added bonus of the large unobstructed skies just adds to the experience. Here are a couple of photos from the last couple of days, and what a difference some passing cloud makes! We've arrived at the Hawbridge Inn in Tirley, Gloucester for our Karsten Tent Display this weekend (30th Sept - 1st Oct). It's about time we revisited this blog ! We've had a very productive time since our last post, and this blog has fallen somewhat behind so just a re- cap since we last posted of whats been happening: In 2016 The Karsten 350 model won Best Tent over £350 in the Camping and Caravanning Club Tent Satisfaction Awards and was highly commended in the Best 4 Person Tent category as well... we'll that made our year - we were so happy.... But not as happy as this year (2017) when we were invited back to the Camping & Caravanning Club Awards to collect the top gongs for Best LifeTime Tent and Best Premium Range Tent for the range of Karstens. So we've been working really hard in getting these awesome tents to like minded campers around the UK and as such have refined our displys to a smaller number of the most popular tents. This is allowing us to travel further afield, bringing the Karsten range nearer to you. Our plan next year is to have 8 locations f

Karsten have announced an 'Early Bird Offer' for our February display. Karsten are offering a 5% discount on their 2015 price list for tents ordered over the display weekend, before they introduce their new prices for 2016 on 1st March. Our September display of Karsten, Cabanon & EVSO tents is in full swing, and the sun is shinning for our second day. We open at 10am today (Sunday), but we are here all week until Sunday 20th... so there is plenty of time to come and see our range of 100% cotton canvas tents.

Our June display saw the showcasing of the ESVO Bedouin range....certainly the first time I've ever seen them in the UK. Together with the Cabanon and Karsten's our show was a 'Sea of Canvas'. With over 20+ models on display as well as Karsten Commercial Range and the mainstream tents offered by Cross Camping it was a display not to be missed. Quite possibly the best in the UK! Our April Display proved to be the busiest yet. Not only are campers seeing the Karsten Tents on campsites and then coming to the show, but the weaker Euro means that the tents are at a great price. Let hope it holds until the Autumn Discount! The Cabanon's are edging their way back into popularity with the Bora Bora being the best seller....unfortunately we are limited with the stock at the moment so if you are looking - now is the time to buy. We were treated to a fantastic sunset over the display and in particular the Awaya and Biscaya.

Although Valentines Day has passed, you still have the rest of the year to fall in love with a Karsten! Our first display is at the end of February with larger tent displays in April & June.
