Karsten have announced an 'Early Bird Offer' for our February display. Karsten are offering a 5% discount on their 2015 price list for tents ordered over the display weekend, before they introduce their new prices for 2016 on 1st March. We have just returned from a very successful weekend at the Great Northern Fishing Show , held annually at Cudmore Fisheries in connection with the Finals of the Fish 'O' Mania Competition. Setting up in the rain, on a boggy slope whilst trying to keep everything clean was a real challenge. Luckily we managed to get some bark.  Gradually the clouds broke and Saturday brought with it intermittent weather but large crowds. Our first sale was completed with an hour of the doors opening. Sun and blue skies were the order for Sunday and it didn't disappoint. Although the crowds were less than Saturday, we had lots of serious interest, especially with the 350 Karsten for general Camping. Cudmore Fisheries is a great fishing location, catering for all anglers on various lakes.  Check out our Video Channel on YouTube

We will be display a few Karsten Family Tents and combinations at Brookhouse Inn - Castle Cary , Somerset this weekend 28th/29th January. There is camping available to the rear with all the warm trappings and charm of the Inn for the evening. After a great Christmas with the family and a busy start to the year; with all the unpacking of the Karsten Tents ordered during the Autumn Discount period, we have nearly finalised our show dates for the coming months. We will endeavour to get around the UK visiting some sites from last year and adding new shows in areas where we have received lots of interest, for example. the Lake District. Our display consists of eight Karsten's in the various sizes and colours, with different tent combinations and awning arrangements with tarps and other quality camping accessories.

We recently visited the British Show at Royal Windsor, and were blessed with good weather. We took the who family and met some friends there. The first thing that I thought was great, was that it was dog friendly, so the new family addition could tag along as well, and all the owners seemed to all be in very good control of their animals. There was lots to see and do for all ages, and although the queues could be quite lenghty , there was lots going on around. The camping section, was slightly cramped and unfortunately, this is how I felt about the whole set up. I also felt that the layout would have been somewhat better. We were trying to display the Karsten's at this show, but decided against it in the end, and I must say that I am pleased that we made the right decision. It was great to visit, but quite a few of the exhibitors felt as though there was limited passing traffic due to the layout design. We'll just have to see if it improves next year!
